The dining atmosphere here strikes a cozy and welcoming note, enhanced by warm and attentive service that instantly makes you feel at home. Whether you're visiting for a casual lunch or a relaxed dinner, the generous portions and vibrant flavors make every meal memorable.
Standout dishes have won loyal fans and glowing reviews. Food lovers often rave about the tender and aromatic Butter Chicken paired with fluffy basmati rice and the irresistibly cheesy Cheese Naan. A particular highlight is the Chicken Biryani, described as perfectly spiced and richly satisfying. It’s comforting to know that whether you crave something mild or with a kick, Tandoori Masala gets the balance just right. One guest fondly recalls the "spicy just as it should be" character of their meal, emphasizing authentic heat without overpowering the palate.
The menu also charmingly surprises with specialties like the delectable beef sandwich, seasoned with a homemade Algerian sauce that adds an extra zing to the culinary experience. This variety underscores the kitchen's dedication to well-crafted flavors that extend beyond usual expectations. For those seeking traditional accompaniments, the inclusion of beverages such as the creamy, sweet mango lassi perfectly complements the fiery dishes, although some reviewers hope to see a wider selection of traditional Indian drinks in the future.
Affordability adds to the appeal, with fair prices matched by high quality and generous servings. Friendly, personable staff contribute to the lovely ambiance, making Tandoori Masala not just a place to eat, but a destination to enjoy Indian hospitality and culture.
In sum, Tandoori Masala's unique charm lies in its dedication to authentic flavors served with warmth and generosity. Had Buttered Chicken, Basmati Rice, Cheese Nan and Mango Lassi. It was really nice and tasty. Ordered a Chicken Tikka Masala and it was OK but not as nice. Good flavours and my favourite Indian in Lyon so far

Formule (plat crevettes Korma + nan fromage + boisson) à 17€. Equipe sympathique.
